Everytime I rerun an old setup, it always means a reprogram. New tools and new approaches are all integrated to produce the best results. Decided this deep side feature was better with a necked Helical Solutions endmill and a slight step up as it seats into the subframe to make a press-fit. I churn designs and get wrapped up in a perfection spiral. Not the best way to profits, but the only way I know. Aluminum stock on this small run jumped 40% from the last run. It will be interesting to revist this post in another year and see where American manufacturing ends up. For now, we are still in this for you guys, making the parts you want for your Lexus and Toyota babies.

Fixing 2JZ Problems
Thin oil pans get tweaked when they are removed, plus they weep under pressure when FIPG seals break down over time. We made a limited number of rear sump GTE girdle plates that add ejector pins and allow more even force distribution to keep the seal intact.

IS500 Elate Supercharger Update
First off, I wanna say that developing products is not always straightforward. And there's a tremendous amount of work done by many people to bring things to market. The more we work as a community, and the more we share information, the better it is for everyone. ELATE MFG. has made a great kit for us and the pioneering customers that have given their hard earned money to participate in the pilot program have allowed so much progress in what I would classify as a short amount of time. There's been a great network, making progress, not making progress, discovering insights, and overall, working as a collective to figure a lot of things out. We made some great progress this week on our own in-house calibration, but it wouldn't be truthful to say that I did it completely alone.

I want to thank 🎌 Tuned By AboDana 🎌 for helping me confirm the hardware side of things was working well, as he remote tuned this vehicle, providing peace of mind that there weren't any issues with the installation. That allowed me to focus more specifically on the calibration aspects and beat my head against the wall, knowing that there would be light at the end of the tunnel. The results in this video don't really show the whole story. The behind the scenes, ideas and collaboration that are really the whole reason why I enjoy this community.

And yes, there will be many questions, and it will be hard to explain why our eddie current load cell Brian Proski dyno reads crank HP instead of whp, how much horsepower is possible, and what everything costs in the end. But this is just one more step forward as we move towards that final state where you can just press a button and click it on the website.

Still some road simulation and drivability corners I want to verify, but things are looking very good overall, and i'm sure if you slapped one of these things on in the end it will put a big smile on your face. Remember, this is just software, and you can play with it as long as there are hours in the day to make improvements. Let's just get you a solid start and the confidence to drive.
