Wheat Ridge Feed the Future Backpack Program

This program provides supplemental food for children in need at participating schools in Wheat Ridge during the school year.

Experience shows that children who aren’t hungry have improved grades and increased attendance. Backpack programs across the country help this happen by providing extra food so children won’t be hungry over the weekend and will be ready for school on Monday.
