Proud to be a part of a great day at the wheat ridge Grange. 4H kids and parents volunteering for the Grange cleanup day. Lots of work got done due to the many hands. Thank you 4Hers, parents, granger's. This is what community looks like !!!

Great to see principal Jeff Gomez being recognized tonight. Truly inspirational to see so much dedication for 30 plus years helping our students in WR. Enjoy your retirement, very well deserved. Nice to see everyone show up to say good luck from the district, the board, staff, and parents. Thanks Jeff for all you have done !!

But........ if your gonna be in the semen selling business, it helps to have a marketing genius on your team !!

Ever wonder how you would AI (artificially inseminate) a cow ? Well..... ask any of these 4H kids after the AI presentation at livestock council meeting tonight, they can tell you the history of it, and how to do it. Reproductive organs, straws of semen, and all the tools to help them learn. Always learning !!

Thanks to the wheat ridge chamber of commerce for holding a very informative meeting last night at the Grange. All about the Wadsworth project with council members, CDOT, Attorney's, etc. Lots of good information that hasn't really been put out there yet.

Senior awards night at WRHS. A true class act. Multiple scholarships awarded and an appointment to West point, and an appointment to the Air force academy ! All of these students rock !!! Great job WRHS.

Great ribbon cutting with the wheat ridge chamber at Jersey Mike's at 32nd and Youngsfield this afternoon. I was honored to help accept the fundraiser check for WRHS along with WRHS senior Noah Rothermel from a fundraiser Jersey Mike's did in March. Thanks Donn and Ro. This is what community looks like.

Had a great time at the WR chamber of commerce christmas party last week. A few hundred wheat ridge business supporters all getting together to celebrate the great projects the chamber is working on. We even had the WRHS choir singing christmas carols for everyone. Thanks you Mr. Plakorus and all of the talented singers for coming to the Grange and getting everyone in the spirit, you all sound great.

Nice to see the career explore group from WRHS spending time touring the construction project at 38th and Upham. Looks like some future builders coming through this great project at our high school. Thanks Ms. Johnson, Shaw construction, and OE construction. We love to see this kind of collaboration between our community and our kids !

The wheat ridge co op was pleased to be open today for the annual tree lighting ceremony. Thank you to the wheat ridge chamber of commerce and a few of their members for bringing coffee, hot cider, and cocoa. Thank you to all of the jeffco 4H members for coming down and helping out the kiddos with the bell ornaments and reindeer food crafts. Great recycle and feed grain crafts for education. Couldn't have done it without these great 4Her's and parents. And a special thanks to Joey and Pietras pizza for bringing pizza's over to feed all of the very hungry 4H kids at the end. Turned out great. Looks like everyone had a great time !!

Great ribbon cutting at post oak hall today !! Got a cool tour, tasty caramels, and a great remodel of a cool building in wheat ridge. Nice job. Great to see this in our community !
