We’re very saddened to announce that last night was our last dinner service. An unfortunate and irreconcilable difference with our landlord has left us no other option than to close permanently.
We worked very hard the last 5 years to create a special restaurant experience for our guests that we were very proud of.
To our family, staff, musicians, purveyors, and guests: Thank You for making Bird in Hand a reality and the special place we truly thought it was.
We’ll see what the next chapter brings.

Olivia Charlotte is Rhode Island’s folk goddess. Her vocal style is unique and haunting, with a sorrowful but hopeful tone. Her debut single “Diagnostics” and its accompanying music video was described by Loud Women as a strong alt rock debut reminiscent of the Cranberries.
