"Why are my Brakes grinding, and do I really need new rotors?"
This customer came in with Brakes that had been grinding for some time. A friend who is a mechanic told them they only needed brake pads, so they initially questioned why we needed to see the vehicle before giving them a repair quote.
The photos show exactly why.
Brake Pads press against a metal disc called the brake rotor to stop your vehicle. Once brakes have been grinding, the rotor can become badly damaged. Installing new brake pads against a damaged or uneven rotor can cause poor braking, noise, vibration, and premature wear of the new pads.
That's why it's nearly impossible to know the full scope of a brake repair without actually inspecting the vehicle. Our goal isn't to guess at what your vehicle needs — it's to provide a complete and lasting repair.
On this vehicle, we replaced the Brake Pads and rotors on all four wheels. The entire repair was completed in about half a day, and the customer was able to take advantage of our 0% for 90 day payment option.
Hearing grinding, squeaking, or other noises when you brake? Schedule online anytime and let our team take a look.

"Why is my BMW Check Engine Light still on after replacing the sensor?"
This BMW came in with a Check Engine Light that wouldn't go away. The customer had stopped at a local parts store and was told a sensor was bad. A friend replaced the sensor, but the BMW check engine light came right back on.
After testing the vehicle, our technicians found that the sensor wasn't the problem. The BMW's alternator was failing internally, causing intermittent voltage problems. That unstable voltage was affecting the vehicle's sensors and causing incorrect readings that triggered the check engine light.
We also found the reason the alternator failed. An engine oil leak was allowing oil to get onto the alternator, eventually damaging it.
Our team replaced the BMW alternator, repaired the oil leak, tested the vehicle to confirm the problem was fixed, and had it back to the customer the same day. We even detailed the BMW before returning it.
If your BMW has a Check Engine Light, electrical problem, oil leak, or other warning light, schedule your BMW repair online anytime. We offer easy 24/7 online scheduling and 0% for 90 day payment options for qualified customers.

"Why is my low washer fluid light on, and how much will it cost to fix?"
This customer had a low washer fluid warning on the dash. After doing a little ChatGPT research, they thought it might just be a bad washer fluid hose, maybe a repair under $20.
Once we took a look, we found the real problem. The washer fluid reservoir had a small crack and was leaking. On this BMW, replacing it meant removing the entire passenger side fender just to get to the reservoir.
Our team made quick work of the repair, put everything back together, and even detailed the vehicle before returning it to the customer.
The repair took about half a day, and the customer was able to use our 0% for 90 days payment option to make the unexpected repair a little easier.
Sometimes the problem that sounds simple isn't quite so simple. That's why proper testing matters.

“Why does my car make a clicking noise when turning?”
If you hear a loud clicking noise when you turn the steering wheel and accelerate, there’s a good chance you have a worn CV axle.
In this photo, you can see the difference between a new CV axle (top) and the old one we removed (bottom). The old axle has a split CV boot.
When you press the gas pedal, your transmission spins the CV axles to turn your wheels and move your vehicle. At the end of each axle is a CV joint that allows the axle to flex and pivot as you steer. That joint is packed with grease, and the rubber boot is what keeps the grease in and dirt and water out.
Once the boot splits, the grease leaks out. Without lubrication, the CV joint wears quickly and begins making that familiar clicking noise when turning. If caught early, replacing the boot may be possible on some vehicles, but most of the time the axle needs to be replaced.
The good news? This repair only took a few hours, and our customer was back on the road the very same day. They also took advantage of our 0% financing for 90 days, making the repair easier on the budget.
If your vehicle is making strange noises, don’t ignore them. Catching a problem early can often prevent a more expensive repair later.

“Why are my brakes squeaking and shaking the whole car when I stop?”
This customer came to us recently because when she would hit the brakes to slow down or stop there was a horrible squealing noise and her entire steering wheel would shake back and forth. Once she let off the brake, the noise and shaking would go away.
One of our Technicians took a ride with the customer to verify the noise and it was clear that we would need to take a look at the brakes. We quickly found that the brake pads were worn out and the brake rotors had some rust and rot forming that was causing the shaking.
We replaced the brakes with a ceramic brake pad that helps dissipate heat a lot better than the original pads, which will help the brakes last longer and stay quiet. Then we replaced the brake rotors. We like to use a coated rotor, which simply means that the rotor has a gray protective coating on it that prevents the rotor from rotting away over the years.
These brakes now work well and will last for many years to come.
The customer was able to take advantage of our Online Scheduling and used our 0% For 90 Days Payment Plan. They were in and out before lunchtime.
