So last weekend was a major mile stone for TDT. We successfully flew our maiden flight of our new aerial test platform nicknamed Pegasus.

The two flights were incredibly smooth from a 4200 ft long private runway located in SE Texas. The aircraft performed well both in slow flight configurations and high speed tests. This weekend we will be continuing our testing and collecting data to baseline the aircraft's capabilities before adding our autopilot system.

We are planning to start flight trials of the new autopilot system mid August.

Additional news TDT just purchased a new Tarot T18 Octocopter and will be getting this platform ready to be a test bed for both communication equipment as well as a custom 3 axis - 9DOF camera gimbal we are developing in house. We expect the gimbal to be ready for sale just before Christmas.

So over the last few weeks here at TDT we have been working on several things. First and foremost is our new UAV system or UAS as properly defined. This system is going to offer users something nearly every other system on the market does not. And thats an extremely easy to use operator interface. Originally developed by Tom Pycke, TDT has been allowed to build off the great system he has developed. Our goal is not to define how you use UAS, but make it so easy that you can use it to do what you need it to do!
