Deep Waters Academy

Lots of events happening at DWA this month! Our Core Value for October is *Family*! Current families, be sure to join us Monday morning for our Going Deeper with a special family prayer time 💙

🦒 First Field Trip of the Year Was a Success!
We had an awesome time at Bayou Wildlife Zoo for our first field trip of the school year! Our DWA families fed the animals, explored the petting zoo, marveled at the giraffes, and discovered so many unique creatures together. We wrapped up the day with a picnic lunch together.
We are so incredibly blessed to create opportunities for our families to connect and grow together. At DWA, we believe we're more than a school - we're a community! That's why we host at least one community event every month, giving our families a chance to spend time together and have fun.
Thank you to everyone who joined us - we can't wait for our next adventure together! 💙

Our Kindergarten classes enjoyed an on campus field trip to the school Science Lab last week. These budding scientists had the opportunity to explore crystals and geodes as part of the Introduction to Science curriculum. Thank you Mrs. Shank for welcoming our Kindergarten friends to the science lab!

Friday Enrichment provides extra opportunities for our 5th-10th grade students to pursue classes in theater, robotics or athletics. We’re looking forward to seeing these students flourish and grow the gifts and talents God has blessed them with!

School is back in full swing at DWA and we couldn’t be happier! Learning comes to life through our classically inspired curriculum and hands on approach. From our littlest learners to our high school leaders, campus is full of joyful students and teachers! What a gift!

What a wonderful first week back at Deep Waters Academy!

Our hallways and classrooms are full again! Students and teachers reconnecting, classrooms buzzing with energy, and learning already underway from day one.

This year we're excited to grow new friendships, rekindle old ones, grow in faith and community, and keep pursuing what matters most: learning to love what is good, true, and beautiful.

Our scripture verse for the year is "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13.

Here's to a year full of hope, joy, peace, and trust in the Lord! Welcome back, Deep Waters family! 💙
