We know you don’t play favorites! All your kids are an important part of your life, and we want to include them in all the family fun! Maternity photos should feature the whole family, including any siblings the baby-to-be!
Sharing time with mama is not easy, so the more siblings are involved in your maternity session, the more included they will feel, leading to the beginnings of a healthy family dynamic between sibling and baby.

Simple colors, such as black, gray, and navy have that professional look, while still making you pop. We love staying on-trend, but to create that timeless look, we say stick to neutrals and modest necklines!

Less than 2 hours? Yes! Your newborn session will take less than two hours! Let’s break it down.
The first hour of your newborn session is focused on your family. Whether that is only parents, or if siblings are involved as well! When the excitement is there in the first hour, we’ll take family photos (and newborn will be snuggled into mom or dad). And then, once siblings start to fade, we use that second hour to focus on images of just baby.

Welcome back to our tips & tricks series, teaching you how to get the best family photos. And we know, that sounds like a lot. But a little piece of advice can go a long way!
Our first tip : Don't bribe your kids! It's super tempting to want to tempt your kids with rewards during our session. But, we recco to save that until after they're done. Why? Well, when you bribe your kids with something good, you're sending the message that they're about to do something that won't be fun, which is totes not the case!
So save those rewards and bribes until after the session is over. Say "You did such a great job, let's go get a treat because you were so good!" instead of a conditional "If you're good..."

“There’s no way you got anything!” is something we hear time and time again. From an outside perspective, it’s easy to look at your kids being silly and think that it’s not possible that there is a single good photo.
We promise, promise, promise that we got your perfect pics! So it’s okay if you feel like your session was crazy – those are often the sessions that we get the best expressions from!

We consider 10am to be the magical hour for newborns. So, if you’re asking yourself – “What time should I bring my newborn in for their photos?” Our answer, all the time, will be 10am.
An added bonus, this also gives you time to prepare and get ready for your photos because, of course, you should be in them as well. So we say, 10am is the perfect time for your newborn photos, all the time!
