What's all the excitement about?? Why, it's holiday season at Ivory Tree Portraits!
Holiday Sessions have begun, which means our studio is specially decorated for the holidays, and we can't wait for you to see our beautifully classic and modern backgrounds for our studio!
Holiday Portraits are available until December 23, but if you want your digitals before Christmas comes, then you have to order December 12th or before! If you're looking to order Christmas cards, your orders have to be in by December 5th. And this only guarantees that you'll have everything by Christmas Day! If you're looking to post, print, or send out cards before Christmas, then keep an eye on the date.

"There's no way you got anything!" is a phrase we hear time and time again. But when we say "We got it, I promise!" at the end of your session, we do really mean it!
Your kids will have fun - no question about it! And at the same time, you'll get memories that you'll treasure forever. Getting pictures done is never something they (or you!) should dread. We want to make your experience as fun and care free as possible, resulting in beautiful images such as these!
So let your kids' personalities come out on their own, and we'll do the rest!
Our first "wall reveal" of the season... OLIVE! Our white brick wall has been replaced with the most timeless but trendy shade of green. Accompanied by a velvet olive ottoman, this monochromatic look is perfect for the holidays. Come test it out and book a holiday session before they all fill up!

With a headshot session comes 10-30 minutes in our studio, different background options, an optional outfit change, and complete posing guidance from your photographer. So take a deep breath, because we’ve got you!

We know it sounds silly, but following your kids’ lead truly is the more efficient and effective method to getting the best photos. Plus, they’ll learn to enjoy themselves, and they’ll be excited when it’s time to come back for your next session!
You heard us right, wear those pants! It's tempting to think that during a headshot session, there's no point in wearing professional pants. But there IS! A lot of headshot variation comes from standing positions, and it's limiting if we're only working with waist-up attire. Make sure you come prepared, and wearing pants!
