Center, Wayne, PA. Come this May I will be one of the jurors for the November 2024 Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Exhibition. Should be fun. Back to my Philly roots.

Chris Darway Returns for Three Days in August!!
Florida Society of Goldsmiths NE Deland, Florida
August 26th will be “Clean Up Your Act”, a finishing class that will cover many aspects of hand finishing: flex shafts and their wheels and compounds, polishing lathes, tumblers, needle, and vibratory polisher. One day 10AM to 4PM
$215/members, $270/nonmembers
August 27th “Ring as Mechanism” Create a “self-adjusting ring” from a darwaydesign© kit which includes and will cover cleaning cast sterling silver elements, blanking die use, soldering stainless steel, setting tube rivets, and making a stainless-steel spring.
August 28th will build on the kinetic aspects of the ring to make the “Plunger Catch Cable Bracelet”. Solder stainless steel cable to sterling and make a stainless-steel wire spring mechanism.
Two days 10AM to 4PM $425 / members, $530/nonmembers
Signup for all three days for only $595/members and $740/nonmembers
A supply/tool list will be available shortly. There will be a separate charge for materials paid directly to the instructor.
