Mighty Biscuits Baseball

⚾️🏆 ONE SERIES. ONE CHAMPION. A BATTLE FOR THE RINGS. 💍⚾️

The table is set, the oven is hot, and the (2) Mighty Biscuits are headed to the MSL National League Championship Series! 🏆🧈

After taking down the defending champion Rockies in the semifinals, we now meet the (5) Blue Jays, who completed an impressive playoff run of their own by knocking off the (4) Marlins and then the (1) Division Champion Ravens.

Two teams remain. One championship. Best of three for the ring. 💍

The Biscuits enter the series HOT out of the oven 🔥 after three straight wins over the Rockies, including our semifinal sweep. We’ve gotten here with pitching, smooth-as-butter defense, patience at the plate, timely hitting, and contributions throughout the lineup.

Now there’s only one ingredient left to add to the recipe. 🏆💍

THREE WINS GOT US HERE. TWO MORE GET US THE RING. 💍

🏆 LET’S FINISH THE RECIPE.

🏆⚾️ BUTTER BELIEVE IT — THE BISCUITS ARE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! ⚾️🏆

🧹🧈 The Biscuits brought the brooms, the butter, and a whole lot of heat.

After beating the defending champion Rockies in the regular-season finale to earn our first-round bye, we served up TWO MORE WINS in the semifinals. That’s THREE STRAIGHT over the Rockies. The mountain was steep, but apparently nobody told the Biscuits they weren’t supposed to rise at high altitude. 🏔️🥐😂

🥞 Game 1: Biscuits 9, Rockies 5
Timothy Martin delivered 7 strong innings for the win, before Jake McCabe slammed the oven door with 2 innings for the save. Vince Bruce was BUTTERED UP with 4 hits and 2 RBIs, Jordan Golz and Bill Balatsos added 2 hits each, and Christian Avis delivered a clutch 2-RBI hit. The Biscuits also worked 9 walks.

🔥 Game 2: Biscuits 14, Rockies 3
Someone forgot to turn the oven off. Caedon Peterson went the FULL 9 for the complete-game win, while Christian Avis led the offense with 2 hits and 3 RBIs. The lineup stayed hungry but patient, working another 12 walks.

That’s 21 walks across the doubleheader. Patient at the plate, timely hitting, quality pitching, and smooth-as-butter defense. 🧈🧤 That’s a pretty good recipe for playoff baseball.

Both games were battles early. Then somebody preheated the oven. 🔥 By the late innings, the Rockies started to crumble and the Biscuits had reached the summit. 🏔️

9-5. 14-3. SWEEP. 🧹

We climbed the mountain. We cleared the Rockies. And now these Biscuits are golden brown and championship bound. 🏆🧈

We await the winner of the Division Champion Ravens and Blue Jays. Whoever it is, we know it’ll be a tough battle — and the Biscuits will be ready to rise to the occasion.

🏆 ONE SERIES LEFT. KEEP THE OVEN HOT. PASS THE BUTTER. LET’S BAKE. BUTTER UP!🔥🧈

⚾️🧹🧈 DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP — BYE SECURED! 🧈🧹⚾️

What a way to close out the regular season. Two games. Two wins. 17-7. 🔥

⚾ GAME 1 — BISCUITS 7, DEVILS 0
Jake McCabe was absolutely dealing, breezing through the Devils lineup with 7 scoreless innings and setting the tone from the jump. 🔥
The offense got to work early, manufacturing runs and building a commanding lead that Jake made sure was never in doubt.

⚾ GAME 2 — BISCUITS 4, ROCKIES 3
This was the big one. 2 seed and a first-round playoff bye on the line. And the Biscuits came through with a TOTAL TEAM WIN. 💪

Caedon Peterson was phenomenal on the mound, giving us 6 strong innings, surrendering just 3 runs (1 earned) and battling all night to limit the damage.
Down late? Didn't matter.

The Biscuits stayed tough and came through with 2 clutch runs in the 9th, highlighted by a huge 2-RBI knock from Vincent Bruce to keep us alive. 🔥🔥

Tim Martin took over for Caedon and earned the W with 4 scoreless innings and 8 strikeouts, shutting the Rockies down and giving the offense a chance to finish the job.

Then in the 10th inning, Benny “Biscuit” Cole delivered the go-ahead RBI to put the Biscuits on top! 🧈🔥

One more shutdown inning in the bottom of the 10th and that was BALLGAME.

4-3 BISCUITS. 2 SEED. FIRST-ROUND BYE. SECURED. 🔒🔥

We finish the regular season 17-7 and head straight into the semifinals with some serious momentum. Most likely waiting for us: a best-of-3 battle with the Chicago Rockies for a ticket to the CHAMPIONSHIP. 🏆

The regular season is over.
NOW THE REAL FUN STARTS.

🧈⚾ SEASON SWEEP ⚾🧈

Great game and a TEAM W as the Mighty Biscuits take down the Hops 11-1 to complete the season sweep! 🧹🔥

Bill Balatsos got us rolling early with a great catch in the 1st to give us some momentum.

Then Michael "Squatch" Wieringa started barreling baseballs, going 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs to help put the game out of reach. 🔥💪

The offense was clicking all around as we manufactured runs up and down the lineup. And don't sleep on Tom Balatsos, Christian Avis, and Jordan Golz, all coming through with multi-hit games. 🔥🔥🔥

Mike Ruffolo showed some serious patience at the plate, working 4 walks and constantly giving the offense opportunities.

On the bump, Tim Martin picked up the W with 11 strikeouts, and Caedon Peterson was lights out to seal the deal. 🔥⚾

Complete team effort from start to finish. Season sweep secured. 🧹

Now we carry this momentum into next weekend and straight into the playoffs.

⚾ HEARTBREAKER UNDER THE LIGHTS ⚾

The Mighty Biscuits took a 5-2 lead into the 9th inning behind outstanding pitching performances from Jake McCabe and Caedon Peterson, but we couldn't close the door and let victory slip away, falling to the Blue Jays 6-5.

The bats were active all night as the Biscuits collected 13 hits and 7 walks, but we couldn't push enough runs across when we had the opportunities. Ben Cole drove in 2 runs at the plate to help give the Biscuits the early lead.

A tough, gritty battle that came down to the very end. This one stings, but that's baseball. We'll learn from it, get better, and come back hungry.

Win together. Lose together. Get better together.
