EditShare

National Broadcasting Corporation of Papua New Guinea has modernized its production environment, moving from fragmented, manual processes to a more connected, file-based workflow. Working with Magna Systems, NBC PNG introduced EditShare shared storage and media management as part of a wider production upgrade, giving journalists, editors and producers faster access to content and a more resilient foundation for future HD and digital workflows.

A great example of what strong local expertise and the right technology can deliver.

At Act Schnittwerk, the goal was simple: give editing, grading and finishing teams the performance they need, while keeping everyone working from a shared storage environment. Working with Cologne-based systems integrator MoovIT, the team deployed a high-availability EditShare EFS environment with an Ultimate EFS NVMe performance tier, creating a shared foundation for collaborative editorial and demanding finishing workflows. As Technical Director Malte Kandil says: “We can put the system under full load and still have performance in reserve.”

MediaSilo is evolving, and AI is a big part of the story. In our latest blog, we look at how MediaSilo AI helps teams get more from the content already in their MediaSilo library, from searchable transcripts and subtitles to finding specific people, logos, dialogue and visual scenes.

Plus, we share an exciting preview of where MediaSilo is heading next, expanding beyond review and approval to support increasingly hybrid media environments, including new ways to connect cloud workflows with media held on-prem.

The blog includes highlights from our recent webinar with demos of the technology in action. Take a look: https://hubs.ly/Q04sVPF_0

Hot on the heels of our FLOW AI webinar, we’re turning the spotlight to MediaSilo AI.

Join our 30-minute webinar to see how MediaSilo AI turns every upload into searchable, review-ready content.

We’ll demonstrate how to search across dialogue, on-screen text, people, logos and scenes, jump straight to the moment you need, generate transcripts and SRT captions, and rediscover previously untagged content. We’ll also share an early preview of how MediaSilo is evolving for increasingly hybrid media environments.
