Iowa Irish Fest Rugby Tournament

Last but not least…our Iowa High School Selects Rugby 15s beats Alliance to keep the Honey War Cup in Iowa for another year!!! 🏆

Alliance (MO) comes out as HS Boys Champs! 🏆 AND had a great game of 15s against the Iowa Selects!

Congratulations to the Alliance Rugby Academy U19 Sevens Rugby Champions 🏆! It was a full day of 7s games at the Iowa Irish ☘️ Fest Rugby Tournament, and the boys played a competitive U19 15s a side match vs the Iowa Rugby Selects who won that. However the Alliance earned an amazing Rugby 7s finals 21-7 win over a talented Loons Rugby Club. Congratulations to Keyon Hardin Jr. for receiving the MVP of the 7’s Tournament!! Congratulations to the Wolf pack and to Coach Chauncey Hatten for gathering and leading a great group of quality players! 🐺💪🙌

Iowa Irish Fest 2026🍀

The Loons out of Minnesota are our 2026 HS Girls champs! 🏆☘️

Today the Irish took the field at the 2026 Iowa Irishfest Tournament. We played multiple games including joining forces with our friends from the Iowa City Ducks Rugby Football Club. While we didnt place, there was lots of experience and learning opportunities for our new guys heading into fall 15s.

Congrats to Matthew Hamerly (Hammer) for being voted man of the tournament for Quad City Irish Rugby. He was all over the field on offense and defense making plays and capitalizing to score.

It was a beautiful day for rugby!

Thank you Iowa Falls Rugby Football Club Foundation for loaning us some of your guys. They made a great impact!

Men’s side finishes 3-1 on the day for a 5th place finish. Back to work Tuesday, want to be in the next photo? Come play rugby.

Bremer does it again as the Men’s Champs! 🏆

Congrats Women’s Division Champs! 🏆

Women’s side clocks in early and ends the shift with hardware. We loved watching their matches. 💪💪

Men’s side is 1-1 going into bracket play. More updates on them later.

Great day to be a Mutant.

Make sure you hit the gear table early Saturday! We’ve sold out of T-shirts the last few years!
