🦸‍♂️ REAL-LIFE KINGSLEY SUPERHERO ALERT! 🦸‍♂️
Imagine being a 10-year-old on a Friday afternoon, ready to head into the weekend and enjoy some well-earned free time. But when 5th grader Liam Huse saw someone who needed help, he didn’t hesitate to step up. 💙

Liam noticed a dangerous situation unfolding and immediately sprang into action, helping get someone to safety and making sure they were okay. His quick thinking, courage and compassion are a powerful example of what it means to look out for others. 👏

When asked about his quick thinking, Liam shared:
“I had no second thoughts about it. I saw she was little and needed help, so I ran to her and walked her home. It felt good knowing she was able to get home safe!”

Liam, your courage and strong moral character inspire all of us across Waterloo Schools. You represent the very best of what it means to be a Kingsley Cougar leader! 🐾✨

Third Grade Students completed their first CKLA unit on the Wind and the Willows. Students wrote an opinion piece based on a chosen character and traits they exemplified in the text. Complete with a framed photo of the character they wrote about!

Here’s a reminder for next week!!!!

We have Leader in Me dress up days next week!

One of our favorite days of the month... Family Friday and Assemblies!

October's Family Friday was about being active. At our assembly we filled the WIG catcher half full already!

Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day! Don't forget that you have something fun planned for Kingsley families!

We might have had indoor recess but we are still proactive and chose to work together and collaborate. Great work kiddos!!!!

Students in Mrs. Kohls’ class are learning about Medieval times during the Middle Ages. Serf are known to have eaten rye bread, a small piece of cheese and (ginger)ale. We put ourselves in their shoes and tried some!

Reminder School Pictures are Tomorrow!!!!
