Engine matches 604 crate HP on alcohol from 3600 RPM to 4500 RPM and then starts building impressive HP from there as can be seen on the Dyno screen picture shown. Lower line on dyno pic is 604 engine. Lots of current spec motor racers out there are losing ground on slow restarts or on tracks where they are coming out of the corner slow during part of the race. This engine combination should address that issue.
ENGINE WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AFTER TRACK TESTING FOR A COUPLE NIGHTS

New dish top hypereutectic sealed power pistons, 5.7" eagle rods, Eagle internal balance crank, Clevite bearings, Erson # E110046 hydraulic cam 232/234 duration, .488 .488 lift, Erson aluminum full roller rocker arms, Comp cams chrome moly pushrods, Melling oil pump, 7 qt street strip pan, .250 link double roller timing set. Edelbrock performer rpm dual plane intake. 9.9 Compression. Peak HP is 421 at 5500 RPM. Makes 442 lbs. of torque starting at 3200 rpm and 461 lbs. @ 4400 RPM. Price is less carburator, distributor, water pump, starter and plug wires.
