Confidence is increasing for possible flooding across northern Iowa. A FLOOD WATCH is in effect from 7 PM Friday to 1 PM Saturday. Heavy rain during this time could cause flooding.

A daily record amount of rain fell in Dubuque last night. Keep in mind this is at the airport where climate records are kept. Rain amounts in town were closer to 0.50".

Not only have we not had a sunny day for what seems like forever, but we are losing 2 minutes and 50 seconds of daylight per day.

A FLOOD WATCH is in effect from 10 PM Wednesday until 10AM Thursday for areas along and south of Highway 30. Storms in this area could produce heavy rain causing localized flooding. These storms are expected after midnight.
