Here are some of our heirloom tomatoes, headed off to Le Petit in Cedarfalls. Go check them out in downtown Cedarfalls in the Blackhawk hotel.

The bees are thriving, we just added another super to all three hives. We should have a lot of honey here in August.

We are trying every organic method we know of to keep these apples safe from pests 🐜🪲

Our 4 methods main methods…
➡️ Chemical: Spinosad, an organic spray of course!
➡️ Physical: kaolin clay, sprayed directly on the fruit, AND nylon socks, placed on the fruit.
➡️Mechanical: sticky traps AND molasses 🌳 traps.
➡️Biological- placing pheromone traps AND attracting birds 🐦 and bats🦇

🍎 Everything wants a bite of these delicious apples ‼️

We have implemented cover crops this year to help with tree health and bee 🐝 food, after the blossoms fall 🍎 this is a good source of food for our bees. We have mustard, buckwheat and clover.
