The Draconid Meteor Shower peaks tonight, October 8- a great night to step outside and see what the sky has in store. 🌌

What makes the Draconids a little different? You don't have to stay up until midnight 🙌; they're best viewed in the evening, around 7–10 p.m., with the predicted peak around 8 p.m. for our area.

☄️ The Draconids occur when Earth passes through debris left behind by Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner, named for the constellation Draco the Dragon, where the meteors appear to radiate from.

For your best chance of spotting one, find a darker area away from lights, give your eyes a few minutes to adjust, and look up! No telescope needed!
