It’s time! Saturday, December 3 is The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Mayoral Battle of the Bells! Stop by your Mayor’s designated location from 10AM – 12PM and fill up their kettle!
City of Evansdale IA , will you stop by to support Mayor Kobliska? Last year she lost by only $27.01! Perhaps Cedar Falls will secure a win for Mayor Rob Green - Cedar Falls, Iowa. Or will City of Waterloo, Iowa - City Hall's Mayor Hart reign supreme once more?

Volunteers are still needed for beverage service, as cashiers, and ID checking for the Mayor's Fireworks this Saturday in Waterloo. Volunteers should register at www.mainstreetwaterloo.org/fireworks.
The event is organized by Main Street Waterloo, Waterloo Center for the Arts, and the City of Waterloo.

EAST HIGH SCHOOL SELECTS HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Five East High School alumni have been named to the East High School Hall of Fame including our own Mayor Quentin Hart. These individuals were nominated based on five categories: high school career, service to East High School, career accomplishments, community impact/service and evidence of a positive character.
The honorees are Martin Culpepper Jr., Yvonne Culpepper, Tabitha Frizell, Quentin Hart and Cora Turner.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, recipients will be honored in the fall during a home football game yet to be announced.

Stop by the National Cattle Congress grounds this afternoon for free pork loin, rain or shine!
Today at 4 PM at the National Cattle Congress, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, The Iowa Pork Producers as well as Iowa Farmers are thanking the community of Waterloo and it's residents for their support of the pork industry during Covid. 1,300 pork loins will be given out for FREE.
