We would like to thank all the volunteers who assisted in setting and picking up the small flags at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery for Memorial Weekend on Veterans' graves. There are 1,677 Veterans at the cemetery!

It may not be winter but it certainly feels and looks like it is! All the winter wreaths are set. We ordered extra so if you are interested in a wreath please contact the cemetery office at 319-232-4165.

If you would like to keep your cemetery decorations that are in a vase please remember to pick them up by September 15th.

If you are planning to place Memorial Day decorations inside the permanent vase that is part of the marker you can begin decorating anytime. If your decorations are going to be outside the vase you can place those Friday, May 27th and they can remain there until Thursday, June 2nd.

All of the flowers ordered through the cemetery for Memorial Day have been set! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the office.

Winter clean-up is scheduled for March 1st. Due to the frost we will be extending the clean-up date and complete it when weather permits. If you have cemetery decorations you would like to keep, please check regularly with the cemetery office on our plans.
