Meet the Team: Michelle B., Director of Rehabilitation

With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and compassion to our rehabilitation team. Her career began as a Physical Therapy Assistant and has included experience in outpatient care, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing.

As Director of Rehabilitation, Michelle leads with a supportive, team-focused approach, providing guidance and encouragement while helping both residents and staff succeed. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with patients and is dedicated to helping every individual reach their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Maddey is our Administrator here at Harmony Waterloo, and a proud UNI graduate. She has grown her career right here in the Cedar Valley, gaining experience in admissions, HR, and leadership along the way.

She’s passionate about people; supporting her staff, building strong teams, and making sure every resident feels valued and cared for. Maddey brings a hands-on, positive approach to leadership and is dedicated to making Harmony Waterloo a place residents and families can trust.

🎮 Day 4 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was a success with our Nintendo theme! Residents had a blast racing against each other in Mario & Luigi kart races, sharing laughs, friendly competition, and lots of fun memories along the way. 🏁🍄⭐️

🪩 Day 3 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was a groovy one! 🥤🍓✨

We celebrated Disco Day with a fun dirty soda bar and delicious chocolate covered strawberries, marshmallows, and pineapples! The residents were absolutely loving creating their own sweet drinks and treats — so much so that we didn’t get many pictures because everyone was too busy enjoying the fun! 💃🕺

🚀 Nursing Skilled Nursing Care Week – Day 2: Far Out Style! 🌌

Today we blasted off into outer space fun with our residents and staff! 👽🪐✨ To help keep our amazing team fueled for the journey, we also provided snacks for our wonderful staff as a small thank you for all they do each day.

Today’s theme was Disney Day, and our staff and residents brought the fun, smiles, and magic to life! From favorite characters to magical memories, it was a wonderful way to start a week dedicated to celebrating the incredible people who make our community feel like home. ❤️✨
