Valley Rotaract
We are a community-oriented club for young professionals of the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska. We meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:30.
We are a community-oriented club for young professionals of the Valley. Our motto, “service above self”, describes our mission and purpose. We strive to better our community by serving others and forming meaningful relationships. The Rotaract Club includes hands-on service projects, fun networking and social activities, professional development opportunities, and an international network of young leaders.

Thought of the day requires a little imagination.
What would you do if you only had a set number of words to use in your lifetime?
What would you talk about to those around you in you're everyday life?
Could you sit down at the dinner table to enjoy those who sit next to you without words?
Or when speaking, would you choose to complain about the negative or share and appreciate the positive?
Could you take a walk with your loved ones and take time to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you?
Or would you be engulfed in your phone and let the moment pass you by?
What would you do if you ran out?
How would you express your love to your spouses and children without words?
How would you express your kindness to friends and peers?
Words can be empowering, loving, kind, deceitful, angry, or hurtful.
Deciding what we say, or don't say, not only impacts those around us, but ourselves every day.
Let your words be a gift to those around you. And know when just silence can be the key to everything.
How would you choose to use your words if, one day, you knew you'd run out?
