Policy experts spoke to congressional staff on how lawmakers can take the lead on economic growth by supporting second chance legislation.

ICYMI: The United States Sentencing Commission voted to adopt a package of guideline amendments, which will be to submitted to Congress by May 1, 2026.

The amendments will expand probation and community programs, reduce prison time, and narrow “career offender” enhancements.

Members of Congress should vote NO on reauthorizing FISA Section 702. Rushing this process shuts down needed debate and leaves serious surveillance concerns unaddressed—including warrantless searches of Americans’ communications.
