Loneliness and social isolation can affect people of all ages, but intergenerational connections are one powerful way to address both.

We're excited to see Perfect Pair, a Generations United Program of Distinction, featured by CBS News Detroit. Founded by a University of Michigan student in 2020, Perfect Pair brings together college students and older adults to build meaningful relationships, foster connection, and combat loneliness.

Michigan program pairs college students, older adults to combat loneliness Perfect Pair was founded by a University of Michigan student in 2020 to curb social isolation during the pandemic.
