With being released tomorrow on music, the largest LGBT music label in North America, I’m thrilled to announce a follow-up release: my tech/melodic rendition of this classic from the show. So many people -love- this song, myself obviously included, but I haven’t found an edit that I’d play on my dancefloors. So obviously, I made one. With the spirit in which it is named (Alegría is Spanish for “joy”), I present Alegría. Available everywhere you can stream/download music on Tuesday (5/26/26).

I grew up with this song in the 80’s & 90’s, but it wasn’t until my senior year of high school, when I was DJ’ing our Summer band-camp dance, and Brenda Campbell took the microphone and belted out an amazing rendition.
