This little room in our Vermont cabin didn’t look like much when we first bought the house.

We turned it into a playful bunk room at Pine & Plaid - layering striped wallpaper, vintage details, and classic bunks to create a cozy space our kids and visiting families.

The wallpaper really set the tone for the room. We used a striped pattern from , and found it thanks to a great sourcing recommendation from .

The goal was simple: make a small room feel memorable and fun.

Design takeaway: small rooms are a great place to take a little risk with pattern.
