One of the most valuable parts of our environmental design process is getting out into the space itself. We recently toured a client's new office to discuss graphic opportunities throughout the space, which has us reflecting on other recent site visits.
Walking the site together allows us to move beyond plans and renderings to consider how people will actually experience the environment: where they'll enter, gather, collaborate, and spend time. Sometimes we visit a finished space. Other times, we walk through a building still under construction. In either case, being on site helps us understand the environment's scale, flow, and purpose, and helps clients visualize how graphic design can enhance their culture, brand, and goals.
Site visits don't stop when the design is complete. We also visit projects during installation, working alongside installers to troubleshoot challenges, answer questions, and address concerns that arise.
From early space tours (with or without walls!) to installation day, site visits help us create environmental graphics that are not only visually impactful but also valuable tools for telling our clients’ stories in their spaces.

There is nothing controversial about treating people with dignity. As LGBTQ+ people continue to be told to shrink themselves, Pride reminds us to do the opposite: protect joy, defend humanity, and make room for everyone to live safely and openly.
Respect costs nothing. Inclusion is the bare minimum.

Today we’re celebrating Shannon Flynn and her FOUR incredible years at Eighty2degrees!
As our project manager, Shannon is the steady force keeping our team moving, on track, and aligned. From balancing timelines to communicating with calm and clarity, she brings an unmatched level of organization, thoughtfulness, and care to every project she touches.
Beyond her incredible work ethic, Shannon brings a sense of ease and positivity that makes even the busiest days feel manageable. She's the very best team member we could ask for: dependable, collaborative, sharp, and always ready with a solution (and usually a witty joke!).
We’re so grateful for the past four years and for all the ways Shannon helps make Eighty2degrees what it is. Happy work anniversary, Shannon!

2025 marked a pivotal moment for American democracy, as unprecedented threats to our institutions and Constitution were unleashed. In its 2025 Annual Report, Campaign Legal Center () details its response to these threats and outlines the work it’s doing to defend and strengthen democracy. We designed the report by building on CLC’s established brand system and visually emphasizing both the urgency of these threats and the organization’s efforts to confront them.
The cover collage reflects the current state of American democracy: a red-alert warning about the erosion of the separation of powers. Throughout the report, an intensified use of red sets this edition apart from previous years, reinforcing the heightened stakes described in the content. Bold typography and custom collages throughout the report support the written content. We introduced a new image treatment that layers monotone imagery with clipped black-and-white photography, and we also introduced the report’s three featured CLC programs through distinct accent colors applied across bands and feature collages.

Our latest collaboration with our partners at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health introduces the brand identity for THRIVE Lab. The first piece of the project puzzle: the logo.
THRIVE Lab is a hub for public health research and action, bridging science, community impact, and public policy. Through studying toxic chemical exposures and their effects on health equity, the lab translates research into meaningful change.
The logo reflects THRIVE Lab’s distinct approach to public health. Molecular forms reference scientific rigor and collaborative research partnerships, while the human silhouette—filled with organic, flourishing forms—symbolizes growth, restoration, and clean chemistry. Paired with a custom wordmark that mirrors the symbol's structured and organic qualities, the logo represents the Lab’s practices, grounded in research while oriented toward action and collective well-being.
A warm, sunrise-inspired gradient within the figure conveys optimism, diversity, and hope. Rich, vibrant colors position THRIVE Lab as an innovative force in advancing equity in public health and pursuing healthier communities.

Less noise, more impact. In Campaign Legal Center's recent planned-giving mailer, we leaned into white space rather than filling every inch to highlight their efforts to advance democracy for the next generation.
By giving the message room to breathe, the mailer's story became clearer, and its ask became stronger, inspiring supporters to ensure their legacy includes a stronger, more resilient democracy.

We’re just 6 months away from the midterm elections, and it’s as important as ever to check your voter registration status. The recent blows to key protections of the Voting Rights Act—making it harder for many communities to access the ballot—remind us that our rights are not guaranteed. They require attention, participation, and action in our communities and at the ballot box.
If you’re eligible but not registered, take a few minutes to do so today. Visit vote.org to double-check your registration status, register to vote, and learn about your local candidates and where they stand on the issues that matter most to you. And don’t stop there. Encourage someone else to do the same.
November will be here before we know it. Make sure you’re ready when it counts.
