Thank you Station 4 for helping us and to all the SW residents you went to Station 4's opening night!

Representatives of the project will be at the 5th annual Ward 6 Family Day at the Yards Park this Saturday, June 25th from 1-3 PM. Come visit us to have some lemonade and discuss our progress.

UPDATE: Station 4 will open this Sunday, June 26th at 5 pm, and 20% of all proceeds from that night will go to the SWPP! Please help spread the word, and plan to attend. The more, the merrier, and the more contributions for the playground!

I just visited the Ben & Jerry's Scoop Truck Tour page. The Ben & Jerry's Truck is back in action! This time there's even more delicious ice cream to share! The truck will be on the East Coast and the West coast .

Ads and Sponsorships Coming to a Park Near You: DCist Capitol One Randall Pool. Chevron Recreation Center at Marie Reed. Alpo Purina S Street Dog Park. Sounds foolish, right? Maybe, but under a provision of the 2012 D.C. budget passed on a first vote by the D.C. Council, branded parks, pools and recreation centers may soon be a reality.
