For God and Country.
For those of you who still follow me from my birth town, I want to bring notice to the community market in Jeffersonville.
We are all aware of the shortages and the bare shelves the store is currently experiencing. There is a number of factors as to why this is happening and unfortunately, I’m under a non-disclosure agreement so I cannot go into detail.
I will tell you that efforts are underway to save the store, with new local owners, and once again restore affordable groceries to the small town, where I was raised.
I know it’s challenging times, and not everyone can make it to Washington Court House to a larger grocery store. Please reach out to the local Community Action for transportation to the grocery store if you are unable to go to town yourself until this crisis is fixed.
Sometimes you just have to disappear for a year and let God do His thing.

This is in violation of the farm bill, which was signed by President Trump in 2018. It will not hold up in court.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine is set to sign an executive order temporarily banning "intoxicating" h**p, low-level THC products such as delta 8.
On Wednesday, the governor is expected to announce a state of emergency due to the "availability and abuse of intoxicating h**p products remains a serious threat to public health and safety," according to a draft executive order obtained by News 5. The executive order was confirmed by House Speaker Matt Huffman (R-Lima) and House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati).

Jeffersonville water system faces EPA violation over failed E. Coli testing.
The community, located roughly 50 miles southwest of Columbus, has faced scrutiny over water quality in recent years, including a separate E. coli maximum contaminant level violation confirmed later that month after routine sampling on July 8 revealed f***l contamination in one of three required repeat samples.

To my friends and followers in Washington Court House (there are many of you, you are my roots):
I’ve been briefed on the security breach at city hall, which impacted everything from payroll to water bills. City employees were being paid cash, citizens were being over billed or not having their payments reflected; it’s a mess up there.
The city tried to keep this quiet; and by city, I don’t mean the Council. I mean the administration.
The City Manager and the city’s I.T. department head are the people one should be angry with. The administration — not Council downplayed this (even to Council) and tried to cover it up. That was, until people noticed.
Allen Johnson, who has worked for the city for many years leads the I.T. department. Ultimately, the breach falls on his shoulders. In good faith and dignity, Allen is being allowed to retire instead of termination. This is a decision the City Manager, Joe Denen has approved. While not ideal, there is some accountability being had.
Speaking of Joe Denen: he is whose head should be on a stake. He kept Council in the dark; he overpaid city employees in cash (now these employees are having their paychecks docked to repay his error of overpayment).
It’s an election year and while everyone should cast an informed vote, I would request that each voter do their own research. Not all of Council is to blame, if any. But some enable the City Manager.
Remember what Avicii said: “One day, you'll leave this world behind. So live a life you will remember.”
I covered the trial of George Wagner IV, and soon, his father, Billy. Their mother/wife, and their brother/son, Jake. All charged with killing 8 members of a single family at three locations. The judge ruled early on that the defendants would not be seen in shackles or handcuffs, or prison garb because of television cameras — it would make them look guilty, he said.
Luigi Mangione is accused of murdering one person; he’s flanked with more security than President Trump was in the same courthouse (I was there, in the room with POTUS, so I can attest). Further, the bullet proof vest; officials say is to protect Luigi, but that’s preposterous. No one wants to harm him. Quite the opposite, actually. Besides, they’re in a very secured building with-already multiple layers of armed guards.
The state/DOJ are prejudicial and they’re tainting an already-tough jury pool. Luigi is likely to hang a jury — twice in Manhattan, and parading him around like a circus elephant is not going to help the prosecution.
Yes, Luigi is being treated very differently. Differently than the President, who deserved top notch protection, and different than 4 defendants who killed 8 people. None of the five aforementioned had any of the security Luigi has, and none were allowed to be shown “in custody” while in front of cameras in a courtroom.
There’s class and then, there’s ass. I’m all for holding the powerful accountable; it’s what I’ve built my life on, but there is professionalism to follow; ethics: morality. I don’t condone gorilla-like tactics. We can disagree without being disagreeable.
