Yesterday, The Agora Initiative had the privilege of hosting a screening of the Academy Award-winning documentary No Other Land in Cary, NC.

We are deeply grateful to Greenwood Forest Baptist Church for welcoming us.

Following the film, our Executive Director, Khalil Sayegh, and Celeste Marcus, led a panel discussion.

They looked beyond the headlines to explore the human realities of life under occupation, specifically examining the situation in the West Bank in light of the Israeli apartheid policy.

“The two-state solution was a Palestinian compromise. We gave up most of our homeland for peace — and still, they call it a threat.”

In this conversation, Khalil Sayegh questions the logic behind Israel’s “security concerns” and challenges the world to see the contradiction at the heart of the Zionist project.

Freedom isn’t a privilege. It’s a right.
