Maddie sr Honda 1-3 car was super tight and fell off! Back to work!

Ev 5-4 in the heat! He passed again!!!!

We hit the road tomorrow for the first stop of the Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Club! Looks like almost 230 cars registered! Going to be a wild and crazy weekend!

Weekend recap!
No trophies this weekend but we learned a ton!
Maddie got the call to hop in a Zeisloft Motorsports Lt 160 and she killed it! Thank you David for the opportunity!!

Saturday Northwest Ohio Quarter Midget Racing club race we came off the trailer a little slow with no practice and the track being very slick! We made some adjustments and we were faster in the features.

Maddie Sr Honda - She finished 9th in a 12 car sr Honda a main! Kept the car clean just didn’t have the speed we needed. I swung too hard and overshot gearing as the track got much more grippy later in the day.

Maddie Lt 160 - Maddie finished 8th. This was her first time ever in this car and running this class! She didn’t even get a chance to practice and she held her own and slowly learned the car and the line.

Ev jr Honda - finished 6th we were incredibly fast he just couldn’t find the spot to pass!

Ev jr animal - finished 4th car was very fast less than a 10th off the leader. Struggled to pass here again!

Onto sunday and the 2nd stop of Quad City Quarter Midget Racing Series!

We had an eventful morning leading to us missing practice in all cars but the Lt 160. We knew the track was going to be completely different than Saturday.

Maddie sr Honda - had a rough day in this car ended up having to battle through the b main and dad just missed completely in setup and gearing.

Maddie lt 160 - finished 9th but again this car and class was brand new to her and she held her own in a 10 car a main. Every lap she got better and towards the end of the race she had the line figured out and was moving!

Ev jr Honda - finished 6th. Super fast again just needed to send some passes.

Ev jr Animal - this car was hooked up and stupid fast all weekend. He finally sent his first pass on someone similar speed and stuck it! It only resulted in a 5th place finish but this was a win for Everett as he has the monkey off his back now! He was fired up and so proud of himself!
