🎉 Adoption Update: Sweet Delaney has found her forever home! 🐷
Last week, adorable little Delaney was adopted by Theresa and her family, and our hearts couldn’t be happier hearing how well she’s settling in!
“She is doing so well!! She is the sweetest thing and loves just wandering around the house following the kids! She loves climbing into my lap while we wait for the kids to get off the bus! She goes outside in the morning when they go to school and then she climbs into my bed with me when my youngest naps and pretty much goes wherever I go! Overall she’s the perfect addition to our family!”
It sounds like Delaney has found exactly where she belongs 🥹 Wishing them many years of love, laughter, cuddles, and happy piggy adventures together!

It’s the unofficial start to summer! Here are some hot tips for keeping your piggies cool this season! ☀️🐷
🐽Keep your mud wallows full of water! Pigs use mud to regulate their body temperature - a great way for them to stay cool while having fun!
🐽Fresh water should always be available and refreshed at least 2x daily to help keep piggies hydrated.
🐽Piggy pools, extra water sources, sprinklers, or a gentle hose-down can also help pigs cool off safely during especially hot days!
🐽Make sure there’s access to plenty of shade during extreme temps
🐽Ventilated shelters with good airflow, like pinning up door flaps can make a big difference in helping air circulate through piggy houses.

And remember, if your pig is panting, overheating can become serious very quickly and immediate cooling is necessary. Bring them into air conditioning if possible, use cool wet towels draped over their backs, fans directed on them, and in severe cases, an ice bath may be needed.
Stay safe and keep those piggies cool this summer!⛱️

Due to rain in the forecast Saturday and Sunday, this weekend’s Mini Piggy Palooza event has been cancelled ☔🐷
☀️ For everyone who registered, you should have received a message to the email that you used to get your ticket to either transfer your spot to another monthly Mini Piggy Palooza event, June through October, or you may request a full refund!
We appreciate your understanding and continued support of our pigs, and look forward to seeing everyone at a future Mini Piggy Palooza soon! 🐽
