Building Blocks Learning Center is a family owned learning center that fosters care and learning for We offer infant, toddler, preschool programs.
We also have a pre-kindergarten program for children
who are kindergarten age eligible but need more time to develop social, emotional, and academic skills. Each program fosters developmentally appropriate practices and focuses on the creative, social,
emotional, and cognitive learning skills necessary for each stage of development.

We had an exciting guest visit us at BBLC yesterday! The children were VERY excited to meet Olaf! :)
Just taking a moment on this beautiful spring day to appreciate all of our kiddos! Each child is so unique and special to us and we love each and every one! :)

It's all about Dinosaurs in pre-school/pre-K and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom in our toddler rooms this week at BBLC!!! We have some very excited kids!

Celebrating St. Patty's Day at BBLC! We set traps in each room to try to catch Lucky the Leprechaun... but he' so tricky! He eluded us again this year! He took all of our gold and left green foot prints, glitter, and clovers everywhere! What a mess! We will try to catch him again next year! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone and thank you to everyone who brought in goodies for our party! We had a great time!
We hope that our 4 year olds have a blast today at the CT Science Center! They were all smiling on the bus and ready for a fun filled, educational day! Enjoy and we can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!

Today we are celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday!! We've been reading stories, playing fun games and even baking birthday cakes!

This week is dental health week for our preschool and Pre-K classes. We are having a blast learning about how to clean and take care of our teeth and we are even finding some sight words that we know along the way!

Lots to love at BBLC! Getting ready for our big Valentine's Day party tomorrow!
Perfect snow for making a snowman this weekend! We had a great day snowed in together here at the center, but we are happy that the snow has stopped and the sun is making an appearance! Drive safe coming to pick your kids up today and have a great weekend playing in the snow with them!
