For those of you who saw my team and me marching in the parade on Saturday, June 20, in Wallingford, Connecticut, we wanted to take a moment to officially say hello and introduce ourselves to the community!

You saw members of my team marching alongside me, as well as six of our incredible past couples. It was truly special to have them join us, representing not only the weddings and events we’ve had the honor of being part of, but also the families they’ve grown into over the years. Their continued support means the world to us and is a beautiful reminder that our clients become part of our extended family—now and always.

Creative Concepts By Lisa LLC was established in 2008 in Hamden, Connecticut, as a full-service event planning and design company, helping clients create unforgettable weddings, celebrations, and special events.
In 2013, I became a Connecticut Justice of the Peace, Creative Ceremonies # by Lisa, and an ordained minister, allowing me to perform marriage ceremonies throughout Connecticut and New England.
💍 In September 2025, we expanded by opening Creative Consignment CT, a wedding and event consignment shop that offers a wonderful way to buy and sell event décor, wedding items, formalwear, and more at affordable prices.
Our shop is filled with unique treasures—from beautiful lanterns and wedding décor to stylish dresses for summer parties, special occasions, and everyday finds. You don’t need a special event on your calendar to discover something amazing in our store!

One of the biggest questions we get is:

“Can I get all of the money back that I originally paid for my item?”

The simple answer is no.

As a consignment shop, our goal is to price items competitively so they sell and find a new home as quickly as possible. We focus on current resale value, not original retail pricing.

Here’s how our consignment process works:

✅ Step 1: Email [email protected] with photos and as much information as possible about the item(s) you’d like to consign.

✅ Step 2: We research your item using current resale markets and comparable listings—not original purchase prices.

✅ Step 3: We email you our recommended pricing. If you agree, we move on to the next step.

✅ Step 4: We schedule an appointment for a visual inspection and contract review. During the inspection, pricing may be adjusted higher or lower based on condition and marketability.

✅ Step 5: Once an agreement is reached and the contract is signed, we price your item and get it on the sales floor as quickly as possible—typically within 48 hours.

✅ Step 6: Your consignment contract runs for 95 days.
