After a year off from pigs we have them back on the farm!
A huge shout out to Northern Farm & Flowers for providing us the piglets. They look amazing and we are looking forward to raising them out.
The piglets will be in their training open learning about electric wires before heading to the woods in a few weeks. They’ll be eating nice scraps from our fields and older eggs from our hens.

Order your meat and veg for pickup on the farm this week.
We have cuts of chicken and freshly harvested greens, garlic, onions, and herbs available.

Spring has been slow going for us and we’ve been a bit behind with most everything, BUT some gorgeous veg is coming out of the field finally
You can grab some at the SM&NC market Sunday 10-2
We will also have fresh chicken and eggs tomorrow
Ordering for farm pickup will commence this week once we inventory our field tomorrow afternoon.

Need eggs? We have you covered. Come grab some from the farm, out of the cooler. Our happy hens are grazing some lush grasses right now.

It’s officially garlic scape season. These priceless morsels are the flowering portion of the garlic plant. They get popped off after they curl and can be used in any dish you want a garlicky note to, turned into pesto, pickled, fried, etc. the possibilities are endless.

S**t it’s windy, and cold for the end of May. Keep an eye on those sensitive plants this afternoon and tonight. Especially the basil.
We’ve been out here battling row cover in an attempt to protect our newly transplanted peppers and squash 🤦🏻‍♀️ who would have thought we would have to deal with covering plants this time of year.

With the rainy weather this weekend, we decided to open the greenhouse tomorrow from 12-4 for anyone that needs extra plants or chose not to venture out in the rain.
We still have plenty of options left to get your gardens going for the season.
