The seasons are shifting and so is the produce.
We are back outdoors (finally) tomorrow from 10-2 at the SM&NC and the weather is looking beautiful.

Those Autumn Olive berries stood no chance. Hate the invasives, but they sure do make tasty treats for the pigs
So. Much. Water. We are very glad it’s coming to an end tonight.
The farmers’ market the SM&NC is still on for tomorrow inside the Farmhouse from 10-2. We are out in this storm prepping and are planning on coming as loaded as we can with chicken, eggs, and fresh veg.
We hope you’ll consider stepping out and supporting us and the other farms and vendors that are going to be attending.

Yes, it is going to rain again Sunday. Yes, it will be uncomfortable. Yes, we will be harvesting and prepping for Sunday. Yes, we would LOVE IT if you would come out to show support for us and the other farmers even if it’s sh!tty out.
Farmers are so dependent on the weather to provide a bountiful harvest and just as dependent on it to make market days appealing to the consumer. We know that this weekend will be pretty gross, but are so hopeful to see many of you out at the SM&NC
Please consider heading out to other markets and farm stores that are still open this weekend and show the farmers of CT some much needed love!

Our farm pop-up is tomorrow from 12-3 on the front lawn!
We have loads of freshly harvested produce and fresh chicken.
Thank you ahead of time to those planning on coming out, we truly appreciate your support and look forward to having more of our products available to you in the near future..

SATURDAY POPUP MARKET ON THE FARM!
Due to rain, our Sunday market has been cancelled. We have harvested much of what we normally bring and are hoping our local community will be interested in supporting us this weekend and grabbing some fresh produced, eggs, and fresh chicken (all the cuts and whole birds).
The pop-up will take place from 12-3 this Saturday on the front lawn of the farm.
While we are not able to do this frequently (yet) we do our best to offer as much as we can when we can.
Please consider stopping by and loading up for the week.

Pig and layer hens got moved today and they’re all quite happy and went straight to grazing and rooting around.

Summer is coming to an end, but the crops are still rolling in strong. We have many vegetable options offered for sale this week, as well as chicken drumsticks, wings, and soup bones.
