Designing arrangements with plants is an activity that is fun, relaxing, and provides benefits, known as "Horticultural Therapy" which is an emerging field of clinical practice based on proven benefits to the physical, mental and emotional well being, resulting from gardening, planting, arrangements, and related activities. Horticultural therapy is a process in which plants and gardening activities are used to improve the body, mind and spirit of people for all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Horticultural therapy is currently being used in hospital, rehabilitation centers, a wide range of community settings, including people's homes, group workshops and community gardens. Consider hosting a Plant Designs Event and experience these benefits. Support during the event planning will be provided from start to finish! Plant Design Event Studio:

Such a beautiful bride, Heather, who held her pastel toned bouquet so perfectly 💕. This wedding was one of our many favs for this season with a gorgeous 9 foot meadow and fully greened with florals cicular arbor. Such beautiful designs that fit her vibe as we envisioned. Most people here know me for bouquets, floral installations, wedding mornings, and long event days...
But what most people don’t see...
..is the strength it takes behind every wedding installation. 🌸💪
A few years ago, I started strength training simply to become stronger.
Today, it’s become one of my greatest passions.
Ironically, building strength in the gym has made me a stronger wedding florist. From hauling buckets and large arrangements to loading trucks and building installations, every workout pays off on wedding day.
And yes... deadlifts really do make flower installations easier. 😂🌸
If you’re curious about my fitness journey, you’ll find me over at

I’d love to have you along for both journeys.
Do you have a hobby or passion that surprises people? I’d love to hear about it! 👇

A beautiful floral swag centered on a 20 foot long pergola draped with chiffon displays a touch of elegance and repurposed on the sweetheart table makes it twice as functional!

Simple cake flowers always adds a touch of elegance. If you look closely, you can see our “hack” on how we add them. We do not stick stems into your cake — most imported flowers are filled with pesticides and we don’t want to chance they leak into your cake. What’s the hack? Pizza box toppers! Flowers are secured to the plastic top and the thin plastic sticks go in just enough to secure - yes, I know - plastic!! And so long the plastic isn’t heated while in the cake - much safer.
