Second Chance Ranch

We started our farm/ranch about 2 years ago. 2018. We love animals and have horses, sheep, pigs and adding. So, we are rehabbing them now.

We took on two rescue horses in June of 2020 and wanted to give them a second chance.

Nash is still doing great. Upwards of 37 years old and still loving life. We love him!

FARM NEWS: it's a beautiful day!

Abi and Nash are hanging out this afternoon.
He's doing great! ...and loves being in the pasture with the cows and loves the love from the kids. He gets fed multiple times a day still and is on minerals and vitamins. He loves apples and carrots and loves lots of treats.

On another note, we had to give Beauty the last act of kindness last weekend. It was one of the hardest things we have had to do. We loved her so much but she was suffering and at such an old age that she couldn't function anymore. We tried everything. We love her dearly and we are so thankful that for the last almost two years, she was loved dearly and well taken care of. Thankful for everyone's support with her.

PRAY: Please pray for a little calf that we rescued today. He was born Sunday as a twin to a big farm in North Georgia. Mama rejected him and only accepted the other twin. So, the farm owner called and asked if we would come get the baby calf. We said “Yes”.

He is not in the best of shape and has some screw worms and other issues as dehydration, etc. There’s a small chance he will make it and we are doing everything we can to help him.

Lots of time, energy and just straight up TLC.

I will post pictures when he is looking a tad better.

We haven’t named him yet … he’s a black angus.
