Resident Council at Saunders House!

We enjoyed a wonderful Residents’ Council meeting on Thursday filled with great conversation, sharing ideas, and spending time together! Our residents enjoyed some delicious donuts and coffee while discussing ideas and suggestions to make Saunders House an even more wonderful place to call home.

We love hearing our residents’ voices and making sure everyone has an opportunity to share their thoughts!

Today, October 10th, is a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health. 💚

Life can be challenging, and we never truly know what someone else may be going through. A simple smile, a kind word, a listening ear, or letting someone know they are not alone can make a world of difference. 💚

Today, we took some of our residents to Saunders Medical to deliver homemade cookies and pink lemonade in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🩷🍪🍋 It was such a sweet way to spread a little love, show our support, and brighten someone’s day!

Later, we enjoyed a relaxing drive through beautiful Lake Wanahoo, taking in the scenery and enjoying some time out and about together. 🍂🌳🚗

It’s the little moments, acts of kindness, and time spent together that make such wonderful memories! 🥰

At Saunders House, we love finding ways to give back to our community while making every day special for our residents! 💕🩷

A sweet and productive day at Saunders House!

Our residents enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking homemade sugar cookies—and of course, there were plenty of smiles and sweet smells filling the air!

After baking, we kept busy sorting cards, sharing stories, and enjoying some good conversation together.

It’s the simple moments spent together that make our days so special! ❤️

Bring your little goblins and ghouls for a SPOOKTACULAR evening of festive fun! Wear your favorite costumes and get ready to fill up your goodie bags with trunk loads of candy.

🧩❤️ New Activity at Saunders House! ❤️🧩

We’re kicking off a Puzzle Group this October, and our residents are already having a great time! 🧩✨

There’s nothing better than gathering together, working on a puzzle, enjoying some good conversation, and sharing a delicious treat! Today, our puzzle group enjoyed some homemade strawberry rhubarb pie while putting the pieces together. 🍓🥧

We’re looking forward to many more puzzle days filled with laughter, teamwork, friendship, and of course… a few tasty treats along the way! ❤️

Our sweet little Mr. Candy Chomps is ready to fill his tummy with candy! 👻🍬

We are collecting single-wrapped candy donations to help make our upcoming Trunk-or-Treat event at Saunders House extra special for our residents. Mr. Chomps will be located inside the entry way. 🎃🧡

🍫 Every piece of candy donated will help bring smiles, sweet treats, and lots of fun to our residents as we celebrate together!

If you’re able to donate a bag (or two!) of individually wrapped candy, please bring it to Saunders House and help us fill Mr. Candy Chomps up! 🍭
