Y’all wanted to know how T3 has been eating since he got hurt with his two splints on? 🤔 Well, this is it! 😂

Today he had a little . Since T3 doesn’t do too much cheese, he got his favorite…a soft taco with lettuce, sour cream, and onion. 🌮

And yes, all of that lettuce and onion falling out? He wanted that too, as you can see! 😂

I’m cooking something right now that I know he will like for later ! 🥘👩🏽‍🍳

Also, y’all hear that? He’s listening to football at the highest volume possible. 🤣🏈

T3 used to be obsessed with The Hulk & WWE! He would watch anything with The Hulk & WWE everyday 😂❤️

Today started a little rough for our boy. T3 rolled off while he was asleep and I had to grab his “break box” and run out the door to where he was.

He hurt his leg and arm.
Hearing him ask, “Why me?” and cry because he couldn’t go to physical therapy or the gym to play basketball with his cousins never gets any easier.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to stay calm in moments like these. Assessing his pain, giving medicine, splinting injuries, and keeping him comfortable has become something I’ve had to learn. I’ve gotten pretty good at it, but it never gets easier. I’ve learned that if he’s panicking and I’m panicking, neither one of us is going to get through it very well. So I stay calm, reassure him, and focus on getting him comfortable.

The good news is that after some medicine, prayers, and listening to enough Yellow Beezy and Lil Hound Jeff to last me a lifetime 😂, he’s comfortable and back on the phone with his friends talking noise.

And before anybody asks, yes, he’s still eating. 😊 He had some pizza today, got his Gatorade in his Batman cup, and right now I’m just keeping him as comfortable as possible. He likes to be shifted a lot, after laying on one side too long, but overall he’s doing really good.

One thing I always remind T3 is that just because he gets hurt doesn’t mean life stops. It may take a few days to get his pain under control, but we’ll be back making memories soon enough.

I know some of y’all have noticed I’ve been posting older videos lately. That’s because T3 was off hanging out with his cousins and enjoying himself. Also, I don’t like posting him when he’s hurting, crying or not feeling his best.
When he smiling and say “mama you recording!?” Then, I’m on it. 😂

Anyways… I’m done rambling.

This video popped up in my memories from two years ago. ❤️

T3 had just come home from the hospital after surgery to revise and straighten the rods in his arm and leg. As he grew, the rods had shifted and his bones had started to curve, so the doctors had to go back in and make repairs.

One thing about T3… no matter what he’s been through, he’s always ready to eat! 😂 I fixed him a meal when we got home, and he was so excited.
Looking back at moments like these reminds me just how far he has come.
