WHERE WE SERVE:
Caregiver Coaching is available only within the state of Texas. Cost:
There is no cost to participate in the program.
The Baylor School of Education's Caregiver Coaching Program helps Texas parents and caregivers of children with autism gain access to research-based parent training through telehealth sessions with trained therapists at Baylor University. WHOM WE SERVE:
Families who live in Texas and have a child, age birth to 17 years old, diagnosed with autism
ONE-ON-ONE COACHING:
Our program helps Texas parents and caregivers of children with autism receive research-based parent training through telehealth sessions with a team of well-trained coaches at Baylor University. For one-on-one coaching, families receive services in their home, over video conference on a Baylor-provided iPad, with a coach from Baylor. HOW-TO-VIDEOS:
Online how-to videos are available at any time (on our website) to explain strategies for supporting children with autism or other developmental disabilities. Technology:
Baylor provides all needed technology for the duration of the project, or families can use their own technology. TYPES OF SKILLS THERAPISTS WORK ON DURING THE PROGRAM:
Learning daily living skills, communication skills, social skills, pre-academic skills, and overcoming challenging or problem behavior.

We'd like to introduce you to our newest undergraduate researcher! Dani is a psychology major with minors in philosophy and educational psychology. She is also in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core and Honors Program of the Honors College. Dani is a Registered Behavior Technician and works as a therapist at a local clinic- she's been working in the ABA field since she was eighteen! She absolutely loves to see clients grow every day and enjoy life moments as they progress and thrive.
