When I first moved off to college, I was so stressed about being on my own. It was the first time in my life where I truly felt like I could become the person I wanted to be, instead of trying to fit the idea of who I was by the people I had known since elementary school. With this being said, I was able to discover so many things about myself I never knew about. One of the biggest of these things was my love for structure and organization. I found that nothing was more of a stress relief to me than coming home after a full day of classes to a home where everything had a place, my bed was always made, and there was NEVER any piles of laundry that I had procrastinated on putting away.

With this newfound love of mine, it slowly carried over into my career-life. I found that tasks were a lot less daunting if the space that I worked in wasn’t filled with stacks of un-filed paperwork or clutter arising from a lack of motivation.

Over the span of my two years at an amazing company, I have been able to focus on the importance that organization holds in my life. I have found that not only can my organization help me appreciate my job and my environment a lot more, but that it can also help others appreciate their jobs and their environments more.

I know not everyone finds joy in cleaning and/or organizing, but that’s okay, because that’s what I’m here for. 🤩
