Lochlan is the kind of kitten who brings a calm, comforting energy everywhere he goes 🖤

This 7-week-old fluffy black boy inherited his mama’s easygoing personality and seems perfectly happy just taking life as it comes. He loves curling up with his siblings for cozy naps and has such a gentle, relaxed nature that makes him incredibly easy to adore.

But do not let his laid-back personality fool you too much because Lochlan still absolutely knows how to have fun.

He loves chasing toys, wrestling with his brothers, exploring new spaces, and joining in on all the normal kitten chaos when the mood strikes. Even though he may not be quite as big as some of his siblings, he definitely holds his own during playtime.

Lochlan has such a sweet balance of playful energy and calm, affectionate companionship. He is the type of kitten who feels just as happy exploring and playing as he does curled up beside his people or siblings afterward.

Taquito is the kind of kitten who somehow makes every room feel happier the second he walks into it 🧡

This 7-week-old orange tabby boy is gentle, affectionate, playful, and completely devoted to the people and animals he loves. He absolutely adores spending time with his brothers, whether they are wrestling, chasing toys, climbing through cardboard boxes, or all piled together for a nap afterward.

Taquito has such a sweet, loving personality and genuinely seems happiest when he is surrounded by family.

One of the cutest things about him is that he always wants to greet his people. He is often the first little face waiting at the door, excited to see you, ready for attention, affection, and whatever adventure the day might bring.

He also has a playful, curious side and loves turning simple things like cardboard boxes into full entertainment centers. Watching him play is impossible not to smile at because he approaches everything with such happy little energy.

And once he finally tires himself out, he is more than happy curling up beside his siblings or people for cuddles and naps.

Hiya may be a shy little guy at first, but once he feels safe, his personality completely comes to life 💙

This 6-week-old gray kitten starts out as a quiet, squeaky little mouse, carefully observing everything around him while he figures out his surroundings. He likes taking his time getting comfortable and can be a little reserved in new situations.

But the moment he settles in? Completely different kitten.

Suddenly, Hiya is full of energy, zoomies, playtime, and nonstop snuggles. He absolutely loves being part of the action once he feels confident and safe with the people around him.

He has such a sweet, gentle personality and balances his playful side with a total cuddle-bug who genuinely enjoys affection and closeness.

Hiya also does wonderfully with other cats, dogs, and kids, making him a great fit for a loving family ready to help him continue building confidence while giving him all the love and reassurance he deserves.

Freckles knows what it feels like to lose everything, and because of that, she deserves a home where she will never feel alone again 🤍

This 5-year-old black and white girl was found wandering outside by herself after her owner sadly passed away. Even though she was microchipped, there was nobody left to come for her, and suddenly, Freckles found herself trying to navigate a confusing world completely on her own.

When she first arrived at the rescue, she was understandably scared and unsure of everything around her.

But little by little, with patience, safety, and kindness, Freckles has started letting her walls come down.

She is a very gentle, quiet girl who tends to observe the world before fully jumping into it. Freckles is not demanding or chaotic. Instead, she brings such a calm, peaceful energy to the spaces around her.

Her favorite place in the world is perched up in her cat tree, quietly watching everything outside the window. That is where she feels safest and happiest.

Freckles also does wonderfully with other cats, kids, and even small dogs. She mostly keeps to herself but coexists beautifully with everyone around her.

There is something incredibly special about cats like Freckles. The shy, gentle ones who slowly learn how to trust again after life has let them down.

This 8-week-old gray boy is playful, curious, affectionate, and constantly looking for his next adventure. If something moves, crinkles, rolls, or can possibly be climbed on, Styx has already decided it belongs in his next play session.

He loves chasing toys across the room, exploring every corner he can reach, and showing off some pretty impressive kitten acrobatics. Watching him play is honestly nonstop entertainment because he throws his whole tiny body into absolutely everything he does.

But underneath all that playful energy is also such a sweet, affectionate little guy.

Once Styx finally tires himself out, he happily transforms into a cuddly little companion who loves attention, affection, and curling up close to his people for snuggles and purrs.

Thomas is the definition of a gentle giant 🤎

This 11-year-old senior boy has a heart every bit as big as the rest of him. Calm, loving, and wonderfully easygoing, Thomas is the kind of cat who just quietly keeps you company and makes a home feel peaceful.

He loves lounging by the front door, watching the world outside, soaking up sunshine, and simply being near his people throughout the day. There is something so comforting about his presence. He is relaxed, affectionate, and happiest just existing alongside the humans he loves.

Thomas can be a little shy at first while adjusting to new surroundings, but once he feels comfortable, he settles in beautifully. Before long, he is curling up beside you, climbing into your lap, and soaking up as many pets and cuddles as possible.

He truly has such a sweet, loving soul. Thomas also gets along well with both cats and dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a calm home looking for a mellow, affectionate companion.

Right now, Thomas is also working on reaching a healthier weight and will need a family committed to helping him maintain a balanced diet with monitored food intake. DEN KEEPERS NEEDED 🐾

Kitten season has exploded, and with the number of kittens currently coming into the rescue, we urgently need more consistent Den Keepers at The Den.
The reality is that kittens are a LOT of work. They need constant feeding, cleaning, monitoring, and socialization to grow into healthy, confident cats ready for adoption. The younger they are, the more hands-on care they require.

Right now, we especially need steady volunteers who can commit to helping regularly, even if it is just a few hours each week.

Den Keepers help with:
- Feeding cats and kittens
- Refreshing water and cleaning litter boxes
- Sweeping, laundry, dishes, and general cleaning
- Socializing kittens so they become friendly and adoptable
- Helping potential adopters visiting The Den
- Giving extra love and attention to cats waiting for homes

You do not need rescue experience; we will teach you everything you need to know.

You must be 18 years old or accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are welcome to volunteer alongside their parents.

The Den is one of the most important parts of our rescue, and right now, we truly need more people willing to step in and help us keep up with the influx of kittens.

Levaughn is the kind of kitten who somehow manages to be both laid back and full of chaos at the same time 🖤

This 6-week-old black kitten is already stealing hearts left and right, especially with those striking blue kitten eyes that are impossible not to get lost in.

Like his mama, Levaughn has a very easygoing personality. He is relaxed, sweet, affectionate, and usually happy just being part of whatever is happening around him. But do not mistake laid-back for lazy, because this little guy still has plenty of playful kitten energy.

He loves chasing toys, exploring every corner he can reach, and jumping into play sessions with his siblings whenever the mood strikes. Levaughn enjoys being in the action and always seems excited to see what adventure the day might bring.

At the same time, he is also incredibly affectionate and happy to settle in for cuddles and attention once he starts winding down.

Zara somehow manages to be both a quiet little observer and a complete chaos goblin, depending entirely on the moment 🖤

This 10-week-old black kitten has such a fun personality because you never quite know which version of Zara you are about to get.

Sometimes she is curled up beside you for a peaceful lap nap, quietly soaking up affection and watching the world around her with those thoughtful little eyes. Other times, she is suddenly sprinting through the room chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, and fully committing to kitten chaos like it is her full-time job.

Zara loves playing with her siblings and has recently discovered the absolute joy of jingly ball toys, which she takes very seriously. But even during playtime, she still tends to have this thoughtful, observant side to her, where she likes watching everything first before deciding the exact perfect moment to jump in.

She has such a sweet balance of playful energy, affection, curiosity, and independence that makes her personality feel really special.
