🤍🧡🖤Meet Lexis – A Beautiful Calico with a Brave Heart 🧡🖤🤍

Hi there! My name is Lexis, and I’m a stunning 3-year-old calico with the most expressive green eyes and a heart full of love! 💞

🧡My journey hasn't always been easy. I was found outdoors by kind people who knew I deserved a better life. They could tell I was a sweet and friendly girl - just very scared! While they wanted to help me, their resident pets weren't quite as welcoming, so they contacted Billy the Kidden Rescue to help me find my fresh start.

🖤Once I entered rescue, I was spayed, brought up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and received my rabies vaccine. I did have some sore, scabby ears that needed treatment, and later developed an ear infection. With proper veterinary care and lots of love from my amazing foster mom, I started feeling so much better!

🤍For a while, I had to stay in quarantine while everyone tried to figure out what was causing my crusty ears. After diagnostics and vet care, we learned the best news — I’m not contagious! It turns out stress may have played a big role, and once I settled in and felt safe, my ears improved beautifully on their own.

🧡When I was finally able to explore and meet the other kitties, I was a bit nervous. I like to take my time. But once I realized I was safe, I blossomed! Now I love jumping onto the couch or bed to snuggle with my foster mom. I adore laying in her lap, getting brushed, and soaking up all the gentle pets!

🖤I’m a calm, laid-back girl who truly loves her humans! In fact, I crave attention and affection from the people I trust. I love being near my foster mom, curling up beside her on the couch, climbing into her lap, and soaking up gentle pets and brushing sessions. If you're looking for a cat who wants to be part of your daily life, I'm your girl!

🤍While I can tolerate other cats, I do not enjoy sharing my space with them and actively avoid interacting with them whenever possible. If another cat gets too close, I’ll let them know with a little swat that I prefer my personal space.

🧡I don't seek out feline companionship—I seek out HUMAN companionship. Because of this, I am looking for a home where I can be the one and only pet!

🖤I would not do well in a home with dogs or young children. Respectful, patient teenagers would be just fine, but my ideal home is a quiet one where I can relax, feel secure, and devote myself to my people. In return, you'll have a loyal companion who will happily spend her days by your side.

🤍I may be a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I promise to be your most loyal, cuddly companion. If you're looking for a loving cat who wants a deep bond with her humans—not other animals—I just might be your perfect match!
