Join us for our care partner support group in partnership with the APDA Virginia chapter!
Taking care of yourself is imperative to being a good care partner to a loved one with Parkinson's Disease. We are honored to support you in managing the often complex dynamics of caring for someone with PD and the sessions are facilitated by a licensed social worker. Our goal is to allow care partners to have a meaningful and open dialogue as well as meet others in the same situation who also want to learn the best practices in self care.

If there is one thing we can count on from the Parkinson's community, it is their OPTIMISM! 💚👟
Saturday was Norfolk's Optimism Walk in partnership with Harbor’s Edge Senior Living Community and while the weather tried to dampen our spirits, over 150 of you came out to celebrate the strength in optimism and hope in progress!
Thank YOU for coming out to help us raise critical funds for education, resources, support, and research for Parkinson's! Together we were able to raise $46,000 out of our $50,000 goal! You can still donate to help us close the gap at apdaparkinson.org/va
We also want to give a special thank you to our sponsors like Medtronic and vendors and our VOLUNTEERS 💚 for sticking with us through rain and wind and for showing up for the Parkinson's community.
