Thursday night was a beautiful celebration as we honored our Kindergarten graduate and our Class of 2026 8th graders. One is ready to soar into first grade, and the others are prepared to begin their high school journey.

Surrounded by family, friends, teachers, and loved ones, we celebrated their accomplishments and the bright futures God has in store for them. We were especially blessed to have their beloved Mrs. Ruth Freitas as our guest speaker. The graduates wouldn’t have had it any other way!

As they move on to their next chapter, we pray they continue to shine brightly, walk boldly in faith, and remember that with God all things are possible.

Congratulations, graduates! Once a Cougar, always a Cougar! 🎓✨

Last Sabbath, VAA wrapped up our final Education Sabbath of the year at Solid Rock Seventh-day Adventist Church and what a blessing it was! ✨

From the moment we arrived, the love and hospitality poured into our students and staff were truly felt. Our students shined bright and represented VAA with excellence, joy, and purpose! 💙💛

It was a beautiful Sabbath filled with worship, connection, and God’s presence. We are so grateful… and yes, we’ll definitely be back! 🙌🏽✨

Day 1 & 2 at Mt. Aetna Outdoor School are in the books and a little rain couldn’t stop the fun ☔️🙌🏽 They embraced the adventure, explored the outdoors, and even got to hang out with some cool reptiles 🐍🦎

Learning, laughing, and living in God’s beautiful creation… and they’re having a blast!!💛💙🌿

Middle school is OUTSIDE and off to a great start! 🌲✨

Rain or shine… we call it 🌧️ SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS 🙌🏽✨

Over 100 people showed up for our Shine Bright: Run the Light 5K and listen… the rain didn’t stop a thing! 💃🏽🏃🏽‍♂️ We ran, we walked, we laughed, and yes… we got a GOOD workout in the rain! 😄💦

We had 🎁 prizes, 🎟️ raffles, 🎶 music, and ALL the good energy! Huge shoutout to Capital Sprints for handling registration, bibs, timing, music, and bringing the vibes with an amazing MC! 👏🏽🔥

And once we hit 100 registrations (we actually had 148 total!! 🙌🏽) the teachers had to come through in SILLY outfits 🤣🤣 and they did NOT disappoint!! We had a whole time!!

Thank you to our incredible 💙 parents, 💛 students, ⛪ church family, 🏫 school board, and every single person who showed up and showed LOVE. You made our 3rd Annual 5K a true success!

We laughed. We moved. We SHINED BRIGHT ✨

We’re excited that there is only one day before the Shine Bright: Run the Light 5K. Sing up and meet us at Nottoway Park tomorrow. Check in is at 9 AM. The race starts promptly at 10. Prizes will be given and a raffle of $100 Giant Grocery Store will be won!! So much fun!
