Victoria, Texas - FREEBIRDS PREPPING NEW RESTAURANT ON NORTH NAVARRO STREET

Freebirds World Burrito, the popular Texas-based fast-casual brand famous for its highly customizable, monster-sized burritos and bowls, is preparing to open a new location in Victoria.

State filings reveal plans for an $87,000 commercial renovation project located at 8507 North Navarro Street. The brand will be setting up shop along the city's primary retail corridor, bringing its signature rock-themed atmosphere and fresh ingredients to the area.

The 2,382-square-foot project involves an interior finish-out of an existing lease space. The scope of work encompasses the standard commercial restaurant build-out, which will include configuring the front-of-house assembly line ordering counters, setting up the dining room, and installing a commercial kitchen equipped for their daily scratch-made food prep.

Construction on the new Victoria Freebirds is scheduled to begin later this fall on November 23, 2026, targeting a spring completion by April 9, 2027.
