Van Alstyne Historic Museum
Van Alstyne Senior Center
Public Works (for water and wastewater emergencies please call 903-482-5251)

All emergency services will be at full capacity during the holiday.
Trash and recycling services will not be affected by the holiday.

We’re excited to introduce some of the dedicated individuals serving on the CDC and EDC Boards.

Exciting news for Van Alstyne! The EDC Board and City Council have approved the sale of 9 acres in Cold Springs Industrial Park to Advanced Process Solutions (APS), marking a major win for the community. The Blue Ridge-based company is set to expand into Van Alstyne with a 100,000 square foot industrial facility, bringing up to 175 jobs over the next five years at a median salary exceeding $70,000 — plus a $40 million investment in the project.

Groundbreaking is targeted for late summer, with a grand opening planned for early 2027. APS — a trusted supplier to Texas Instruments and Globalwafers — chose Van Alstyne for its strategic proximity to Sherman and access to a skilled workforce. The company specializes in industrial-grade automation, plastic fabrication, and field service and maintenance. More updates to come!

💧 Cases of bottled water of any size are welcome.
