It's Election Time, Here's the Lawmakers that voted to Increase Your Bills
These Indiana Bills were all passed by the Indiana Legislature to allow NIPSCO to Recover the infrastructure and planning costs for Data Centers through DELIVERY FEES & Other Fees. (Described as “advanced technology” in the bills.)

These NIPSCO rate increases have been sanctified by the Indiana House and Indiana Senate and these bills that these Indiana lawmakers have passed allows NIPSCO collect from ratepayers (consumers) before they have even built the data centers or even if they are not complete or used.
The customers of NIPSCO are paying for everything upfront whether they build it or not. NIPSCO is charging residents for it. They can charge all customers as long as they want because there’s no cap on it.
Legally, NIPSCO does not have to justify how much money they charge.
