The Friday Ranch

Enjoying some horses back riding at Friday Ranch - Uvalde.

Rain can be a double edged sword sometimes. Here it makes a beautiful waterfall in sycamore creek, also provides a nice swimming hole upstream since the river was flooding. But, also washed out our road and we got stuck.

We went to see our new neighbor Parker McCullom in concert at the American Bank Center. Wow, what a show! Very entertaining.

He’s our new neighbor after buying the old Winn Ranch at 19 mile crossing which neighbors us for miles. He appropriately named it “The Hit Record Ranch”.

One of my high school sweethearts, Shelia used to live at the ranch. We rode 3 wheelers all over the place. Some very rough but scenic country with some pretty river frontage. Of course the best Nueces river frontage is at the Friday Ranch. Hard to beat our swimming holes.

These Arrowheads are from the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. I was amazed at how similar they look to arrowheads we find on the ranch.
