Dates for Summer Series and Rodeo!

📣 CALLING ALL HANDS ON DECK! 📣

Hey Uvalde Youth Rodeo Club families! The South Texas Showdown needs our help to get rodeo-ready, and we know our crew is the best for the job! 💪

We're looking for 10-12 awesome volunteers (kids and parents!) to help set up and tear down chairs in the VIP boxes. It's a quick job when we all work together!

Here’s the plan: 🤠
Chair Setup: Wednesday, October 22nd at 6:00 PM 🙌
Chair Teardown: Sunday, October 26th at 6:00 PM 🙌

Many hands make light work, and it's a great way to support our rodeo community! Please drop a comment below if your family can lend a hand for one or both times. Let's do this!

It was wonderful to celebrate all of the kids last night from leadliners to graduating seniors, these kids worked hard all summer! We are thrilled to award the All Around Boy and Girl in each age group with a Trent Ward Saddle this year thanks to our incredible sponsors. PLEASE SHARE YOUR BANQUET PICS IN THE COMMENTS! Get ready for an unforgettable evening at the UYRC Summer Series Awards Banquet, happening on July 29, 2025, at 6:30 pm at the Fairplex. We're thrilled that Chaparosa Ranch is once again graciously providing the main course. To add some variety to our menu, we invite each age group to contribute a specific dish:
7-U desserts
8-10 sides
11-13 chips
14-19 BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and cheese

We are excited to welcome everyone for our annual rodeo Saturday. 😊 We will be starting at 9 am. All entries will be through Equest Events. Regular entries will close Thursday at noon, and late entries will be accepted until 10pm on Friday. Run order will be available Saturday morning.
