We're changing!!! Wyandot Ride Service began sporting a new look today with the acquisition of our newest fleet vehicle. We will be updating our new vehicles to this new look as we begin replacing our aging fleet.

Wyandot Ride Service is taking applications for part time and substitute drivers.
Part time drivers are scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and receive PTO, sick time, and holiday pay.
Substitute drivers are scheduled "as needed". Sub drivers may negotiate their weekly schedule in advance based on the mutual needs of the employee and the company.

Just a reminder that Wyandot Ride Service will be closed on Monday, February 16th. in observance of Presidents Day. We will resume normal operations Tuesday, the 17th.

Wyandot Ride Service, Kenton Area Transportation Service and Hancock Area Transportation Service will all tentatively reopen at 12 noon Tuesday, Jan. 27 2026, depending on weather conditions.

Staff should report to their respective sites by 11 am.

All rides scheduled before noon for Tuesday will be cancelled and will need to be rescheduled.

Due to the snow and cold and for the safety of our drivers and passengers, Wyandot Ride Service will be closed Monday, Jan. 26 2026.

The weather forecast for the next few days looks frightful. So just a couple of reminders. We will remain open unless the Sheriff issues a level 3 weather warning. Dress warmly. Our buses have large interiors and it takes a bit to reheat them when the doors are being opened and closed frequently. Please be sure that your sidewalks, steps and ramps are cleared of snow and ice. While we can offer some assistance, if the driver feels walkways are dangerous, they have the authority to decline the ride for safety concerns. Lastly, if you feel the need to cancel a reservation, you can leave an after hours message or you can call prior to your scheduled pick up time. This prevents us from spending unnecessary time waiting.
